This edition less expensive than Smode Live was designed for professional Video Operator, Show designers, Motion designers and Creative studios who need to works collaboratively.

After 2 years of shutdown related to COVID lock down and XR product strategical move, the new free and public software Smode Community Edition became available on our website: https://www.smode.io/en/product/community-visual-art.
It was a non commercial usage edition reserved for Students, VJs, Visual Artists, and Motion Designers's small installation and training.
Smode Designer professionnal edition was renamed into Smode Live.

After eleven years of work, Smode software become mature enough to be distributed to other companies. We create the new software editor company: Smode Tech SAS. https://smode.io/. This to develop Pro Grade Real Time Compositing based Media Server for state of the art live shows, and cutting edge Design tools for content creators.

I'm now a professionnal realtime multimedia software designer. Is It the end of hand crafted software engineering? I hope no.
